DOES SLEEP BRING REST AND HOW TO REST A VIDEO FROM SADHGURU

Yesterday I had a wonderful day in Siem Reap. I was reading and writing and it was close to 1 am when I went to sleep. I fall asleep very quickly and woke up at 6 am, just five hours later feeling much invigorated and rested.
What about the 8 hours of sleep (along with 8 glasses of water) the health gurus prod us to do?
I have never slept 8 hours on a regular basis. I know that my body needs about 6 hours of sleep and perhaps after a good day of rest (which does not include naps or afternoon sleep both of which are unknown to me), the body wakes up automatically when it has had enough sleep.
I remember watching a video by Sadhguru and decided to look for it on the web and here it is and he has some pearls to impart to you.
Rest
Live well and you will sleep well
His comment about young Indians becoming modern and becoming stressed is apt not only for India but elsewhere as well. (Young Indians are some of the unhealthiest people in the world, the "modern" ones with their pseudo-european lifestyle, they have the highest rate of sudden death before 40 years of age and also a high rate of Diabetes, so it does not matter that Yoga and vegetarianism are available to you, what do you with it , is what matters)
