THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON, SAY THE INDIANS, WE ARE NOT SMART ENOUGH TO CONNECT THE DOTS AND UNDERSTAND

In the last 24 hours my Cuban sister has been involved in intense spiritual healing of an unfortunate, by all accounts a well loved lady in Iran. Me and another mutual friend M, were the conduits for this ceremony.

My sister is a powerful healer and after hours of agonizing, I too began to feel a sense of healing of this lady in a far away country.

Even in my previous encounters I have noticed that genuine healers suffer in that successful healing is often followed by some form of a loss. I was not thinking of this while i was concentrating my energy that took my mind from USA to Cuba to Iran to India.

This morning as the cloud was clearing over the suffering of this young lady, I began to feel an intense pain in my chest which I knew is not of organic origin (I am after all a specialist physician, too). It was followed by a sense of anxiety followed by nostalgia of a loss. I was baffled as I had not experienced something like this for a long time. I was unable to clearly think and make any sort of connection.

When my sister in Cuba heals somebody she feels sensations in the organs which are giving the supplicant physical complaints. We were taking care of a young doctor with a strange stomach ailment, and all of a sudden my sister began feeling terrible stomach upset.

My feeling was uncomfortable and as the day passed I could not reach any conclusions. then the mutual friend M came on line and I was explaining about healing and how we felt that this young lady would have a miraculous healing.

Then suddenly it hit me and I found myself speechless. I know the price I have to pay for this success.. my friendship with M !

My sister always says that in situations, you must always light candles or incense and give light.

I drove out to get some candles as I had been lighting candles and giving light to the afflicted mutual friend of M.

You cannot be a good healer if you do not have an innocent/pure mind or shall we say a clean and hygienic mind. When you have such a mind, your thought processes become child-like and then you begin to express your emotions and feelings in the rawest form.

and you are almost always misunderstood by others, because they are thinking like adults in context and not having been transformed by healing ceremonies or posess a certain innocence, you are castigated or liberated in a condescending sense.

What is amazing is that the pain anxiety nostalgia i felt immensely predicted what was to happen just a few hours later. A separation from a friend with whom no longer a special relationship is possible .

I am a Jew and I know the meanings of the concepts of MITZVAH and in my case especially TIKKUN OLAM the healing of the world .. thus healing and social responsibility to others must continue ..

EACH DAY IS A CHANCE TO BE REBORN. ... CORTADITO AT A CAFE IN MIAMI AND THINKING OF IRAN

Thoughts while drinking Cortadito at Ricky’s Bakery in Miami, after a conversation with a friend in Vila Verde in Brasil

Even if you have property (house, car and other intangibles) and you have debt, you are still poor and not Free.

Freedom from Debt

Freedom from Desire, most people do not need better cars, larger homes. If you have no desires, you will not fall prey to the forces of the society

: that compares your income to other

: compares car, houses with each other

Luis Vuitton bags are not attractive to me because I have no desire for them.

You work all your life, accumulate a little bit of money, retire and lead an idle life and then die.

What did you do?

For yourself? Yes, it is obvious

But more importantly, what did you do for others?

Your worth is not your house, your car, your bank account but the amount you have done for others

If you have doubts about this, ask any genuinely happy person of your acquaintance.

As Dalai Lama said

If you want to make yourself happy

Be compassionate

If you want to make another person happy

Be compassionate

As my 8-year-old niece (Haifa, Israel) said: the reason why we are on this earth, is to strive hard, to invent so that we can help others

Please work to get rid of, if you are plagued by them

Anger

Unfulfilled desires or unfulfillable desires

Dependence on others, emotionally or attachment

Disdain or Aversion

It is sad to go to your death with such feelings seething boiling in your head

There is still time

It is with the heart one sees (Le Petite Prince)

The path of truth is a work of the heart, not of the head. (Shams of Tabriz)

9 OCTOBER 2022 HAVANA 9 OCTOBER 1967 LA HIGUERA BOLIVIA AND VALLEGRANDE BOLIVIA

Just a short 50 years after the assassination of CHE Guevara, our world has become without morals, without principles and without justice and mountains of people without inner happiness. Americans are fatter than ever, The Chinese have become destructive and the Russians have become ruthless and the Iranian Mullahs have sunk to the lowest level of humanity killing their own people in the name of God to keep in power. Stories are repeated over and over again. Venezuela. Brazil both ruled by mindless, uneducated dictators.. the list goes on and on
In the 1960s there was hope , in the person of CHE Guevara..

When I was in Bolivia, a local lamented how low they have sunk in terms of economic development and social disenfranchisement and I said
You had a chance in the 1960s and you murdered him..

THE LAST OF THE BUKHARAN JEWS TONIGHT BEGINS THE JEWISH HOLIDAY OF SUKKOTH

I always had an interest in knowing the history of ancient jewish communities which for various reasons disappear over the course of time. Since the establishment of the Jewish State of Israel, nearly one million Jews living in Arab countries and Iran were driven out and incorporated into the nascent state as well as elsewhere. The Jewish communities of Cochin, Rangoon, Penang, Batavia are all but memories.

Apart from Cochin which had been settled for centuries, most of the far eastern communities were of recent origin, such as the community in Calcutta and Rangoon, made up of Iraqi traders. Both are no more, as is the community in Penang.

But there are other ancient communities which can go back thousands of years. I have become interested in visiting two of them. Djerba in Tunisia and Bukhara in Uzbekistan.

above is a video of a slice of Jewish life in Bukhara in 2019. Like many other communities, Bokharan jews will also disappear taking with them their 2000 year old history

According to ancient texts, Israelites began traveling to Central Asia to work as traders during the reign of King David of Jerusalem as far back as the 10th century B.C.E. When Persian King Cyrus the Great conquered Babylon in 539 BC, he encouraged the Jews he liberated to settle in his empire, which included areas of Central Asia. In the Middle Ages, the largest Jewish settlement in Central Asia was in the Emirate of Bukhara.

Bukharan Jews relate their own ancestry to the members of the Ten Tribes of Israel who, after the seizure of Israel in 733/732—722 B.C. by the Assyrians, were driven deep into the Assyrian empire. These lost Israelite tribes include the Tribe of Naphtali and the Tribe of Issachar of the Ten Lost Tribes, who were exiled during the Assyrian captivity of Israel in the 7th century BCE. Isakharov (in different spellings) is a common surname. Bukharan Israelites associate one particular place in Assyria in which they settled, Habor, mentioned in the Bible (2 Kings 17:6), with Bukhara; the identity of consonants in the two names is offered as proof of this. In the opinion of some scholars, Jews settled in Central Asia in the sixth century, but it is certain that during the eighth to ninth centuries they lived in Central Asian cities such as Balkh, Khwarezm, and Merv. At that time, and until approximately the sixteenth century, Bukharan Jews formed a group continuous with Jews of Iran and Afghanistan.

The Bukharan Jews are considered one of the oldest ethno-religious groups of Central Asia and over the years they have developed their own distinct culture. Throughout the years, Jews from other Eastern countries such as IraqIranYemenSyria, and Morocco migrated into Central Asia (by way of the Silk Road

The Bokharan Jews spoke a judeo tajik dialect called Bokhari and thus formed the Persian speaking Jewish diaspora in the Caucuses, Iran and Afghanistan.

I cannot visit Iran to give a discreet Shalom to my relatives there, the last Afghani jew, Zebulon Siman Tov left .
Once 15 000 strong jewish community of Tajikstan is reduced to 150 mostly old and frail
so my dear Bokharan Jewish friends, please expect a visit from me
OJALA B-H soon ..

LA HABANA TO NICARAGUA AIRFARE IN ECONOMY CLASS IS 3500 DOLLARS WHY AND WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM ?

Vuelos a Nicaragua

Salidas desde La Habana.
Cambio de avión en Santo Domingo.
Desde $3.499
Theses tickets are sold by a travel agency in Miami for Cubans who want to come to the USA illegally as Nicaragua admits Cuban passport holders without a visa. From there there is well trodden path by land to the Mexican Border, to ask for asylum.

Of the 2 000 000 people who crossed the border into USA asking for Political Asylum, 200 000 have been from Cuba..

But nowhere is the illegal migration to the USA as well orchestrated as in Miami, where the Cubans actively participate in this human trafficking. Politicians gain points from this flight from a Communist Island but they cant get points from the flight from countries like Guatemala, Honduras or El Salvador ruled by their buddies.

I wish all people to aspire for a better life and how nice if we could find ways not to exploit these people (centuries of exploitation. United Fruit Company) and they can find peace and happiness in their own countries without violence and an economic status to make a decent living.

Miami to Managua tickets can be had for as little as 250 dollars ROUND TRIP. Those who leave Havana are on ONE WAY trip.
