Until today I did not realize the effects of Blockade of USA of Cuba would
extend to Amazon.com accessed from CUBA.
Just because I was using my computer in Cuba to get the
merchandise they did not process my order..
Cubans in the island spend millions of dollars accessing
goods for every day needs as well as luxury items. Amazon.com will deliver to
Ulan Bator in Mongolia but not to Havana Cuba just 389 miles away from Miami,
Florida ..
Knowing Americans, for whom, MONEY is far more important
than PRINCIPLES when it comes to commerce and CUBANS who are in the island, the
most inventive people on earth, a good combination to overcome the ILLEGAL and
IMMORAL blockade of the PEOPLE of CUBA..
Today I invited a colleague (one of the best psychologists
in the island for Lunch). My Cuban sister arrived to prepare lunch and she
brought a packet of Frozen Chicken..
Just guess the origin of the Chicken
TYSON from USA .. HALAL nevertheless, who cares about that
here in CUBA.. obviously it was bound for some Persian gulf country to satisfy
their gluttonous appetite, but somehow the ship deviated from its long path down
to this Caribbean island where we are not supposed to have any USA made
product!..
After nearly 60 years of BLOCKADE of this highly innovative
country which tries to find a non-capitalistic ways of conducting themselves,
which has been punished and the people who suffer are not those intended to
suffer but the ordinary hard working citizens of this country who absolutely
love USA and its people.. but not their government.. (Just like the KURDS in
north eastern Syria are saying now..)
