The Genesis Prize Foundation is pleased to announce that Dr. Albert Bourla, Chairman and CEO of Pfizer, has been selected as the winner of the 2022 Genesis Prize, dubbed the “Jewish Nobel” by TIME Magazine. Thank you for taking part in the global voting campaign, during which 200,000 people cast their votes for one of the six finalists. Dr. Bourla, whose parents are Holocaust survivors, declined the financial part of the prize and has asked our foundation to use the $1M award to fund projects aimed at preserving the memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
