It was a good day to receive this news of a miracle cure of two Ebola Infected American citizens who had been released to the care and love and affection of their families.
But the people responsible for the CURE was not mentioned or vaguely referred to in the article.
If this doctor was a Malaysian, would the Malaysian government sent a private plane to bring this missionary doctor and the other missionary home?
they were brought home courtesy of the American Public who had to foot the bill.
If the two were Spanish, would the leading hospital take extra care and evacuate an entire ward so that they could be cared for? at the cost of millions of dollars? by dedicated nurses and doctors and other people who took the chance of being infected?
They were cared for at the hospital of the Emory University in Atlanta, USA!
Who were the people who developed the medication which had been tried on animals but not on humans?
Are they from Uzbekistan? Saudi Arabia? Iran? India? China?
America is not a spot where Ebola surfaces but they have spent millions of dollars to develop this drug.
I didn't hear anyone mentioned a thanks to Dr Gene Olinger a virologist at the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, the team took very distinct technologies and combined them to develop a cutting edge medical countermeasure against a lethal viral disease.
I say, thanks, Dr Olinger and your team of investigators!
Thanks also are due to the thousands of people, Christian, Jews, Muslims and Hindus and Buddhists who prayed for their recovery. Thanks for your multilingual, multicultural, multi religious, multi ritualistic prayers, Thank You..
