LAMENT FOR MYANMAR. TEARS FOR BIRMANIE

I feel sad looking at this map.. all the names familiar to me 

Mytkyna, Bhamo, Sittwe, Mawlamayne.. My father fought in this land and i visited this golden land a number of countries

when i visited the House of Memories, i was certain that my father had stayed there in then called Nath Villa.

i salute the brave young men and women fighting for the independence of their country, as Gen Aung San did in his time, as my father did in his time ..

and I am proud of my Burmese name
