While the everyday life in Havana has been affected a little, especially for people with limited income, because of the pronouncements coming from Washington, the resiliency of the Cuban people in the island shows. It is good life as usual, much to the amazement of the anti-cuba industry in Miami and their puppets in the Capitols.
As Raul Castro has stated, Cuba will not allow outsiders, ie USA to dictate their policies.
If they think they are helping the Cuban people by their fear mongering, it has had an opposite effect. American tourism has dried up and many of the small private entrepreneurs are suffering. The goodwill created by Obama has all been wiped out.
Cuba is much more a humane country than many, including the USA and the basic human properties such as Gratitude,Solidarity,Relationships,
Neighbourliness flourish in abundance here.
