Feel immensely sad about the demise of Edward Kennedy, the man who came from behind and was a prominent senator and indefatiguable champion of health care for the poor. I remember someone saying to me: the well intentioned revolutionaries always come from good backgrounds and wealth.
As a corollary, those who have suffered very seldom are empathatic towards the sufferings of the others..
