Frequent Fliers and Mileage Run afficionados would recognize this itinerary and will think nothing of it 

Doha to Brussels to Doha to  Alexandria to Doha

 No this is not Egypt, but Muslim women waiting for a bus in Brussels 

Thinking of Iran each time I fly over it..

Doha to Brussels 
Dreary overcast skies in Brussels
A nice few hours at the European Quarters
a meal at the Vietnamese restaurant
Back on the bus to the airport, British AIrways lounge and then on to Doha, a nice FA from PH
At Doha Movenpick hotel
very european and none of the charm of the Middle East
Very europeanized breakfast that I did not enjoy
Back to the Doha Airport and the wonderful Al Safa Lounge
A short turnaround and the usual egyptian surrealism at the Alexandria airport.. for example, the immigration officer holding my passport and insisting that I am not In Egypt..
Wonderful FAs on the flights, one from Rumania and the other from Uganda.
The al Marja  Lounge and a little wait and then a well deserved flight to Kuala Lumpur..

WONDERFUL AL SAFWA LOUNGE
Nice to meet old friends, from Sri Lanka and make new ones, from Indonesia and Zimbabwe. (not mentioning their names for privacy)
Surrealism at Cairo Airport..Incredible.. 
Back to Doha
Once again at the Lounge and yet another little snack .
